WALKING
TOURS
We organize
different walking tours through Álava and La Rioja, among which
we can highlight:

Starting in Labastida, showing and explaining old rock winepresses (from
the X Century) and medieval gaves; walking through wineyards and hermitages.
• Climbing the Toloño Mountain and visiting the ruins of
the Monastery at the top. Starting in Labastida or Rivas and finishing
in Labastida.
• Visiting the Armentia Park, part of the green ring of Vitoria-Gasteiz
(Álava).
• Visiting the Garaio Park where bath is allowed if weather is
good.
• Enjoying the fantastic landscapes that surround the Monastery
of Urkiola.
• Visiting the Salburua Park, part of the green ring of Vitoria-Gasteiz
(Álava).
• Visiting Clavijo and the ruins of the Monastery of Saint Prudencio.
From Albelda.
• Walking from San Millan de la Cogolla to Anguiano through the
mountains (22km)
These walking
tours take from 4 to 8 hours. They can be done by everybody. They can
also include lunch of typical spanish cousine or sandwiches combined
with good wine.
